Your Mistake - $15
Release Year: 2010
Guitarist Joshua Aaron's music and lyrics evoke feelings of longing, heartache and separation across this twelve song set, released on AudioLot/Refugee Entertainment. This five-man crew fires up music with definite nods to the best romantic and punk influences from the Eighties like The Cure, The Pretenders, The WaterBoys, Psychedelic Furs, and U2. The songs "Can't You See", "Memory", and "Breathe Out" are stand outs but really the entire album stands as a fat and memorable Rock record.

Six Minutes To Somewhere - $9
Release Year: 2006
When it comes to songwriting, subtlety wins in the end. This is exactly what comes to mind with the alluring, midtempo, "It's All OK," from Stealing Heather's debut release "Six Minutes To Somewhere." Instead of falling for easy hooks and breezy melodies, singer Joshua Aaron delivers tormented vocals ("You're trying to relax but your mind is playing tricks/Would it make more sense to give up than just to give in") to lead the way through the darkness as an accompanying acoustic guitar provides either a hint of hope or salt in the wound. Falling under the brit-pop umbrella, this band spreads its wings with favorable results. Invariably, somewhere is better than nowhere, making Stealing Heather a band worth keeping your eye on.
